Footpaths In Marldon
Footpath 5 is a public right of way which runs between Ipplepen Road (adjacent ‘Beech Glade’) and Smallwell Lane (adjacent ‘Strainytor’) and is roughly 770M long. The path can be identified by a signpost at either end and by way marks along its length. For the most part the path is relatively level but there is a steep flight of steps at the Smallwell Lane end. The path has a gate at either end and four kissing gates along its length. With the exception of one field, where there is often livestock grazing, the path is fenced for much of its length and surfaces are unmade but good, although they do have a tendency to hold water after heavy rain.
