  1. Saw a picture of Smokey House, it vanished and I cannot find it again. How can I look at old pictures from WW II era? Has Smokey been demolished?

    1. Hi Jean … thank you for your comments. The Olde Smokey House is still ‘alive and well’ and features on our website here: https://marldonlocalhistorygroup.com/occombe-churscombe/#jp-carousel-962

If you use the ‘Marldon Memories’ tab on the website you will find lots of past details from the war around Marldon Village – along with plent of old photographs too. In all we have over 1000 pictures online, with many more in our archives stored in the Village Hall.
      Regards
      Derek .. Secretary/Treasurer
