Marldon Service Station – Marldon shows its commercial side, one of the few large businesses in the Parish Moor Tor – old cottages at Kiln Cross sitting on the edge of the “old village”, where it links up with the “new”. Mounting Block – thought to be one of many in the Parish, this looks to have been well used in times past. Natural Beauty – this fine specimen stands alongside one of the “gateways” into the village, at Marldon Cross Old Bakery – known to have been a traditional shop in 1911, now part of The Church House Inn, Marldon. Peep o’the Hills – out over the countryside and beyond to southern Dartmoor Pumping Station – not everyone’s cup of tea but another of the parishes essential services set in pleasant countryside.
