At the time of writing this final article of the year, we have obviously not yet had our final Christmas social event of 2022, but I am sure it will be a great success as per usual.
However, I can tell you that we sold 21 tickets in advance for the Christmas event, and to date we have 38 members. There may well be a few more who attend the event, but that rather looks like it will be the final numbers of the year.
Last year 39 people attended the Christmas Social from a membership of 55, so I think the ratio remains pretty constant.
A big thank-you to everyone who has supported the History Group over the past year, it certainly hasn’t been an easy time but hopefully we will survive for another 12 months as we have some great speakers lined up to entertain our members.

Stay safe everyone, a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year to all.
