Following on from our guest speaker Simon Dell who gave us a very entertaining and knowledgeable talk entitled “The Fair Arm Of The Law”, we held our AGM.
Many thanks to all those who attended and rejoined the Group for another year, I can assure you we have some excellent speakers in store for you.
If you didn’t rejoin us you need to fear not, the opportunity to renew your membership is still available, or if you are thinking of joining us for the first time then please do, membership is great value at just £10 for the year.

We are now also selling tickets for our Christmas entertainment – the very popular and much sought after MAGGIE DUFFY, partnered by BOB THOMSON .. so be prepared for an evening of song, humour, wit and music!
The evening on 01 December (7:30pm) will be all ticket, just £5 for Members and £10 for non-members .. and we will be advertising the event through various outlets as Maggie now has such a large following.
A ‘goody bag’ will be available for all members along with mulled wine and non-Members are also invited to bring their own refreshments.
